Difference between Shower Steamers and Bath Bombs:

Shower steamers and bath bombs may look similar, but they’re designed for very different rituals and intentions.

Shower steamers are aromatherapy tablets made to be placed on the floor or the corner of the shower, away from the direct stream of water. As warm water and steam activate them, they slowly release essential oil vapors into the air, creating an inhalation experience that clears the mind, shifts mood, and elevates the spirit—without dissolving in bathwater or touching the skin. They are for scent and atmosphere only, transforming an everyday shower into a mindful, spa-like moment.

Bath bombs, on the other hand, are meant to be submerged in bathwater, where they fully dissolve and release skin-loving ingredients such as butters, salts, and colorants. Their purpose is physical immersion and skin care, softening and nourishing the body while you soak.

In essence, bath bombs work through the water and the skin, while shower steamers work through the air and the senses, offering two distinct paths to relaxation and self-care.
